As an Information Security Specialist at Fonicom, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of their information systems, through the constant optimisation of processes and technology.

• Monitor and analyse security alerts from various security systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Optimise security tools for maximisation of value to the client.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on information security matters.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of service delivery.
• Prepare and deliver security reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in information security, preferably within an MSSP or similar environment.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, in both written and verbal English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
